attack twenty

I didn't like mine because on icy or even hardpack trails you never knew when the sled was going to try to swap ends with you. One time I was trying to go up a hill and hit a slick spot and ended up sliding back down backwards while the rest of my group went on up. I believe it was made by the same company that makes Kimpex tracks, not Camoplast.

The attack 20 isn't good on hard pack. I have one in my firecat, put it in hill climb position and in soft snow with a base it really grabs and goes like a bat outta hell. But stopping is another story... You don't have any stopping ability in hard pack. Lots of people like it when you put it on hill climb and straighten the lugs with a vice some steel and a blow torch.

I had one on a M7, the first year it was the best track I have ever had in powder(powder position), but very easy to spin out on hard snow. After the the paddles started to bend over, it was not as good in powder. I turned it around to hill climb position and it trenches too much for me in powder.
I never tried straightening the paddles though, which a lot of guys swear by.

The attack 20 is a fantastic powder track. I've had 2 of them, reversed with straightened lugs and it got on the snow extremely well, better than anything I've seen since. However they are terrible at going downhill and in hard conditions. In the dry powder snow they have their place.

I ride with a guy with an '09 TM8 with the Attack 20 and he gets on the snow faster than anyone. But if it's not powdery, that sled stays home.

the attack 20 is made by susy (not correct spelling) i have had 2 now i ran it in powder mode for awhile and hated it once i switched it over its been an awesome track it does trench a little more than i would like in powder and it does not like to stop but in the spring time when its hard it climbs like crazy the track hooks up very well
