if its been ran only in the hc position then once the paddles straighten it will be the best track you have ever owned. if it has been ran in the pp then it will be the best track in deep bottomless powder but will suck in all other conditions. i ran mine in pp for 900 miles and then flipped it and straightened it and it is a trenching sumbuck.

If you run it in HC position, for the first couple hundred miles its going to suck, but within 200, it will start working better and better! Also, if you do run it in HC, make sure you have a stiff snowflap!

Buy the track, put it on in the hill climb position, build some of these, sraighten the paddles, you will love it.

What's the deal with straightening the paddles. You just pinch them with some vise grips and they change shape and stay like that? I've been looking at an attack 20 too. Otherwise would get a Maverick.

You pinch them with the vice grips, heat them until you can smell rubber, and fold them until when the cool and release them, they stay strait. I just flipped mine to hc position, have 100 miles on it and they are starting to straiten up! No regrets going to the A20 here!

I rode mine in the HC position and my bro has his in powder. They work great except for braking. They step out sideways so fast on hard pack it will make your head spin. In the spring on the down hill the sled is like a toboggan with the track in HC and cant climb any were in the powder position. The track is the best powder track going but compromises too much everywhere else IMO. But hey for $150 bucks you can not go wrong.

I have a flipped attack 20 on a custom turbo sled.

Does not even look like an attack 20 it is so straight, even rides strait in the trailer.

That is a great deal on a track with only 200 miles on it.

Great powder track in the powder position but almost, in fact, flat out dangerous in the powder postion on hard snow or thin glazed conditions. We have had one come down the mountain backwards this year in January up out of Island Park Idaho.

I would advise straitening it and riding it flipped and leaving it that way year round.

What he said..... way too dangerous coming dwnhill when it is hc pos. Ive always wondered what you dont see it in the drag racers and hillclimbers , it hooks like no other. sj

would a person be better off going with a challenger extreme??

I think so. I tried my 20 in both positions , in pow , in the pow position it was great but had no good bite when trying to lift the skis up and over stuff . In hclimb on hard pack was great again , traction was like being on asphalt , when trying to work tru trees in the spring id was rank , like having studs . BUT in the same conditions coming downhill it was stupid dangerous, 0 braking or control. Sold mine the next day .

Oh , i tried straightening it in the pow pos , didnt stay straight. sj

i have an A20 in HC position on my boosted RX1. i have around 800 miles with the track in that position not boosted, and 200 miles boosted. The lugs are almost straightened all the way, but it still digs a mean trench. It climbs whatever i want but its got a good sized trench behind it.

if you can find a used Challenger Extreme thats what i would go with.
