This is for the guys who run the extra OEM wheels
I took my skid apart to have the rails powder coated and found
that the middle set ( the two placed inboard of the rail)
The wheel on the piggy back side makes contact and needs to
remove or put to the outboard side of the rail
Try to get a pic. Mine wore through the black and ground into the housing
I don't think it distorted. But time will tell!

I KNOW MOST EVERY ONE REMOVES THE WHEELS. BUT JUST SOMETHING I FOUND

On the shorty or the 155?

My sled is a 155 and the middle set was mounted on the inboard side
I looked at several others that had the extra wheels those middle wheels
were inboard also

Ok, the dealer must not of been paying attention. The correct way is to mount the middle one outside the rails or leave it off if you want to keep the scratchers

Post up some pics please... I cant seem to wrap my head around what you are having issues with...

Just FYI, I put 2500 miles on my '09 Assault, I ran without idlers, but dropped my scratchers when ever the machine was moving.

The wife put 2300 miles on hers, with all idlers installed and rarely ever dropped her scratchers.

She had Polaris OEM, and I used Sidekicks.

I replaced both sets of rail sliders at the same time (hers and mine), mine showed more wear directly under my a$$ than hers as I weigh more, but hers showed more overall wear along thew whole length.

Summary: Idlers or not scrathcers made all the difference.

EMAIL ME THE PICS TO MHORSERMK (AT) GMAIL (DOT) COM

I'll post them for you...

OR...click on th edit button on your post above, then ... click on the "go advanced" button.... then click on the paper-clip icon, use the browse button to find the image file(s) (make sure they are less than a meg) and you will upload them to that post.

Easy..

I don’t have a pic but what he is talking about is the piggy back reservoir on the shox sits on the side there for it will hit the middle bogie wheel (if mounted on the inside of the rail) will hit the shox reservoir when the suspension collapses. The solution is to either run bogies and remove the scratchers or run two sets of bogies front and rear and run scratchers.

Like Cody said, you can run scratchers or wheels, and the wheels must be outside the rail or they will hit the reservoir on the right side.

Not a problem if you run the back set only.

Dealer should have said something, mine did.

notice the single hole about4.5 inches back from the wheel next to the rubber block, do you think you could drill another hole above and mount the wheels there.... would they be just as effective... is there enough space to clear this block and if not could this block the be moved an inch back....or could you do this to the side affected and leave the other wheel where it is... on my summit the wheels are not in line. i looked at mine tonight and with a slight push on the tunnel with one hand the wheel brings up solid on the piggy back shox. also has anyone spoke to their dealer about this as this is clearly a design error that is going to result in trouble not to far down the road

Those bumpers are for the rear track arm to bottom against
the wheels would hit that

As for the tag zip tied to the machine they were MIA
My friend took delivery of his new 163 pro and it had tags on bars
But it has been said on hear before the quality of your dealer is important!!
