...These any good? They don't look too bad from the specs, VGA@30fps, waterproof to 10ft, saves to SD card, 2xAA batteries, USB/Analog IO...

Saw that Sharper Image is going out of business and they had 'em there for $70.



Good deal or no?

You know, I saw a HighDef camera from Panasonic at Costco. Used flash memory cards. The thing was so small, it'd make a hell of a helmet cam. That's what I'm leaning towards. 2 cents and fractional cent.

You get what you pay for

for 70 bucks thats all you can expect. If you just want an occasional vid
it should work ok

If I remember correctly, flash memory is no good for the cold, eats up the batteries real quick.
