assault mileage

does it matter? ive went 80 miles to a tank and ive also went thru 13 gallons in 2 hours not even 5 miles from the truck :D

i didnt mean to come off that way.
i just all depends . if theres 6 inches of snow or if theres 4 feet of fresh.
im the guy who will hold it to the bar with out stoping untill i eather have ran out of gas or blow a belt i dont stop to eat or b/s like lots of riders.
so it all comes down to the terrain your in and the snow levels

Just wondering how miles on average you are getting to tank of gas on the assault?
Thanks

Ive went 100 on a tank trail riding in minnesota and then average ~ 40-50 miles mountain riding depends on conditions but I always bring extra gas with so I know when its time to come back to the trailer

Wish I knew, but....

......I never even stopped to calculate it, too many variables as stated above.

When I ran a REV with no fuel gauage, it was suggested to me to add a marine type fuel flow meter, whcih had to be reset everytime you refueled.

Wish Polaris would install some logic in the ECU that took Fuel Level, Miles ran, and any other parameters off all the magic little sensor boxes on the sled and would show; Avg. mileage, Miles to Empty, and MPG, just like almost everyones tow rig does now with the same type of sensors.

Seems basic, probably just another little feature they are holding out on to one up the next manufacturer, when the models get a little to similar to each other one year.
