Hey guys I have a 2012 polaris assault 800 155 around 2000-5000 feet average riding range. My max recorded speed was 86 mph
Stock specs:
Primary weight 10-62
gears drive 20 driven 41
Primary spring changed too blue/pink primary

This thing sucks, it peaks at 8200 rpm but does not have that great pull it feels underpowered and gets waxed by the 13 pros and xms

Would anyone recommend changing the drive tooth to a 21? Get more track speed out of it ? And would adding a 64 gram weight help it shift up faster or slower?

Stock gear ratio is 20/42. I just put a 19 tooth on the top and it makes a pretty noticable difference and only lost maybe 5 mph on the top end. I wouldnt recommend going higher on the top gear it will feel way underpowered.

Wait in that thread everyone just babbled about the 19/46 gear ratio.. Stocks 20/41 so should I just try a 19 drive gear and leave the driven?

My stock gearing was 20/42 i just changed my top gear a few days ago. Try the 19 tooth on the top it only cost me 30 for the gear and some oil its a cheap way that makes a pretty big difference. You can always play around from there i would just start there first.

I have a sba 2" so little different but went with 19/43 combo and still top out at 90 on the trail. Pulls way harder and just on edge of limiter. In snow all ill get is about 80. You'll have to start at the beginning and check for full shift and then see where to go.
