assault CE track install

i am swaping my 2011 assault track for a 156 ce 2.5 3" pitch just wondering what i need for parts and what i need to do for mods? i was told to pull the center driver and run it on the stock 2.86 drivers. if this works ,great but what is the proper way to do this?

What he said..

There is no easy answer with this sled though...

The 2.4" series 5.1 is not a full 2.4" track, the camo extreme IS a full 2.5"

The lug-tip to tunnel/bulkhead clearance on this sled is tight to begin with. Putting in a taller track magnifies this situation.

Making something "fit" and not having it rub in use or cause parasitic drag, especially in high moisture content snow is another thing. Better clearance equates Directly to better track speed.

ON THE PRO-Chassis....

The 8 tooth 3" pitch drivers and you will have no clearance in the tunnel (well maybe a 1/16" )... even with the CE track MADE for the Polaris (the 155/163" center ported tracks)

The proper pitch drivers just flat out work better and are less prone to ratcheting.

Some people run the 2.86" stock drivers but that is a compromise and you will have next to nothing for clearance with that 2.5" tall lug.

Do some looking around on the forums, you will find more info than can be typed here.
