Asphalt driveway coatings

Need to seal my asphalt driveway.

Don't want chocolate colored water in a bucket.

What should I be looking for when buying this stuff?

Thicker is better I suppose?

Someone in the know please school me

The longer the year rating the better, seal all of the cracks, etc. This is not the time to go cheap, the cheaper you go the more apt you are to end up with brown water. Use the 5 or 7 year rated stuff.

Nope, I only want to do this every5-7 years if I can get away with it, so premium quality is what I am looking for.
