Asking A Handlebar Steering Post Question

Question is, has anyone adapted a Arctic Cat Adjustable Steering Post to there Pro Rmk. Can it be done or is just not worth the effort. I saw that in the swap meet section, that several people have a adjustable steering post from I believe a 11 Cat for sale for $125.00. If it will work I just might try it. But if it can't be done without too much effort, forget it. The Spudman:light:

Waste of time IMO. The reason they are selling is because they took them out and replaced with a fixed post and riser. Read up in the cat section and you'll find a lot about how sloppy they are. I had one on my m8 and hated it.

Get an adjustable riser if you're set on having the adjustability.

You have a FAR superior post to the cat adj. post. We pull them because they're junk.

Like PB said, get a rox adjustable riser if you want the ability to move it. I love mine, well worth the money. Some days I boondock, some days I'm jumping all day... the ability to change is pretty nice imo.

Keep what cha got!!

On our last trip west, saw two Cats in two days being towed back with broken steering posts and both were the adjustable kind.

Has anyone tried the Rox adjustable risers 4" to 6". How did they perform for you and are they worth purchasing. Found them on Ebay for $135.00 with free shipping. The Spudman:yo:
