ARO track failure

Found this on my ARO track after a high speed trail out.

There is no impact damage anywhere on the track ripped right behind the Paddle again no damage there and the clip slid right of the area where it is usually clamped.
The Fibreglass rod inside the track is so short the clip has only partial engagement where it can clamp on the rubber and Glass bar inside (almost 1/3 of the clip is only on soft rubber ). So my guess is -- Track has a Flex edge and on the high speed trail out on a pretty solid base it flexed enough to make the clip slide of and eventually wear through the track window.
Polaris / TS are not even willing to look at it any further.
I am not sure if it is only on my track where the rods do not go all the way through to give a secure hold to the track clips or if it is the way they all are. I for one will not buy the same track again. I Really like how well the track works just have no appetite to have an other $900 track fail.

If it's a shorty I'll buy it for the right price.
I have the same problem with my sx track. Ts doesn't put enough curl on the rail tips and it really pushes out on the clips at times and the cross bar will even flex forcing the clip right off.

Pull the clip off, get some Spider wire fishing line, stitch it back together top it off with some vulcanizing cement re install the clip and run it for the rest of the season. Next season may bring better track options without that narrow strip outside of the windows.

Remember how Polaris helped you out when it comes time to buy a new kit.

I mainly bought the ARO because of my local dealership.

CMX was at the top of my list--I hope they pick them up as a dealer. Don't worry I know the only way to have a meaningful vote in this is with your Cash. Just hate to go outside and not support the local guys that keep me riding all year.

The steeper angle of approach might have something to do with it too . Nothing new either , word is just getting out .

No unfortunately , finally starting on a cabin build and hoping to call it home one day .

I'm sure you'll have way to much fun and please post some pictures .

I spend most of my time in the P-Ville area . We could play it by ear and have a back up plan / option ? I'd take you guys up to the glaciers in the back yard if conditions allow with a few swamps on the way :)
You guys must be also talking south of Anchorage ? Squirrel flat , Turnagain , Johnson ? Sound familiar ?

track damage.................ouch

I saw two damaged ARO tracks early in the year, damaged.........assumed by everyone in attendance that it was from running the track real tight, tore out several side pieces.

Not good.

That track has the look of being a little fragile along the edges.
