aro ski compatibility

Any one have pictures of the aro ski to spindle mount. I want to figure out if it can be made to fit the mototrax spindle.

Also are the aro sprockets the same as last year's model?

let me know what you need for measurements

So it will bolt directly to the old Timbersled spindle. It's a 10mm bolt that is about 160mm long end to end. on the new ski. The inner dimensions are the same as the old ski. 76mm across inside, rubber under the spindle is a bit more beefy on this ski.

Thanks a bunch. That means it will fit my mtx spindle (with the mtx rubber). I run the old ts ski and a yeti on the mtx just fine. And with their new block and rubber it is super tight like the ts spindle always was.

Since your not stuck on one brand have you looked at how the Camso pivot works ?

They have a different idea .

I like how the camso ski mounts and it seems like pretty solid but I couldn't think of any easy way for it to fit anything but the camso spindle. Also the ski alone was $800! yikes. I have been running the mtx spindle on my ts and really like it but my yeti ski sucks and wanted to replace it with the fat TS ski this year.

The ski bumper tightness makes a huge difference and I think the biggest reason nobody liked the mtx ski was because the bumper spindle contact was so loose it couldn't put any pressure on the back of the ski. The $69 update kit is worth every penny.

I suppose part of that price is because it probably comes as a kit ?

The phrase what ever the market will bare will always push the envelope until the peasants rebel .

The ski bumper on the Camso is intentional and I wonder if it was on the mtx ski ??

A stiff pivoting ski sends feed back threw the bar .

A lot of times what was a good idea gets killed by mob rules .

The bumper needs to be just stiff enough to weight the back of the center keel but soft enough so it can still move when it needs to. The mtx last year was so soft the back of the carbides would lift and dig the fronts in causing horrible handling. It was so bad the ski tip would drag in the parking lot.
