If you own a Polaris AXYS RMK you have heard of, or experienced a-arm failure from impacts that are less than what you would have expected with the the Pro-Ride chassis.

You have only 3 choices with this knowledge'

First live with it and do your best to avoid hidden rocks buried just below the snow level and you can be pro-active and run non-carbide ski skags to reduce chances of damage. Then replace a-arms when they fail. The problem with this is it can wreck your weekend and parts are often back-ordered and expensive.

Secondly you can immediately remove the stock arms and replace with after market arms. This will cost at least $400 US or $600 CDN.

Thirdly you can install our new Arm Candy, a-arm braces that protect the most vulnerable part of the lower a-arms. The stock arms are great but they do narrow down drastically at the rear of the lower arm close to where they mount and most of the failures we have seen are at this point.

We did not design our braces to stop damage from severe crashes but these sleds should take hits at least as well as the Pro-ride chassis does.

$199 CDN for the kit, that is about $145 USD.

The first picture is the typical failure the braces are designed to stop.

The second picture is a front on tree crash which the arm fails in the front and the braces are not designed to stop. This is due to loss of control and not unseen rocks below the snow surface

I will get some better pictures soon.

Likely meant "Vulnerable". Give the guy a small break he's Canadian. LOL Could have been autocorrect as well. "Venerable" is the polar opposite of "Vulnerable" by definition. Leave it to the English language to have two words that are that close Phonically, mean the extreme opposite of each other.

Yes, I see now, I was fighting the picture download so much last night that I did not pay attention. thanks

The real question is what bends next?

Something is always going to give and I must admit a-arms are a lot easier to replace then bulkheads!

That being said, since Poo is backordered on arms and not bulkheads you might be farther ahead that way! lol

They are really light arms even in the thick sections. Those sections will still collapse with a serious hit, as seen in the photo where the sled ran straight into a tree, These braces are to protect against a minor hit that should not bend an arm but will without a brace.

They are boxed and ready to ship now. Thanks to those who already ordered. I did have some guys ordering multiple sets and if you do, call me or email me for best freight price as our website adds up freight per item and when packaged together freight costs come down usually to 60%.

For the fellow who ordered online last night, we are crediting back the freight overage.

Chris
