Are you loosing your local Dealer ?

I don't know how many of you have even thought about it but dealerships are dropping like fly's. I just heard of 3 or 4 that will not be hear for next years snow season.

Lost a good one last year. Too many "big store" stipulations. Going to force all the ones that care and know what they are doing outa business.

Sorta like what Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, and any other big box store is doing to all the mom and pop shops out there.

We had one move to a cheaper location way out in the boonies for me.

On another note Carles Cycles mail order works flawless for Polaris guys and they have huge inventory and know their stuff!!!

i lost mine 3 years ago and i still haven't found one with comparible service. now all my parts come from jaycoxpowersports.com and i do my own work. when it is time to buy a new one again i don't know what i am going to do.

I lost my Cat dealer over a year ago locally, but have an even better one just 40 miles away that I did most of my business with anyway. Sad deal for all the employees in any case.

I think the move to Monroe is a poor choice. I know I will take my business elswhere now as well!

We lost one here recently and frankly it really isn't a loss. They were lame, no inventory(who doesn't stock oil?), limited knowledge(couldn't figure out clutch spring ratings), stupid pricing(retail plus 10%). Everyone I know had given up going there long ago, maybe that's why they are are gone now.

why can't we lose one?

I wish the one here in Bozeman would at least change hands or become snowmobile competent. Not very convenient to take the sled to West Yellowstone or Idaho Falls. There is however a new Cat dealership in Belgrade. If they prove to be worthy my next new one may be from them.

guess you have to start not caring and sell directly across the border like some dealerships do.
