Are Yamaha sleds built in the US or imported?

I was just curious, are they built and/or designed in the US or are they all imported from Japan?

If they are imported do they have snow in Japan?

Dont know where they are made, but they have tons of snow in Japan.

Yamaha snowmobiles are manufactured at Yamaha factories in Japan. The engines come
from the Iwata 5th Factory located in Tenryu in Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture; painting,
final assembly, and packing takes place at the Iwata 1st Factory in Shingai, Iwata City,
Shizuoka Prefecture

Side note: seems Yamaha believes their best growth opportunity is in Russia. ???? Seems sales are booming there, down everywhere else. Who Knew.
