Are they worth it

Looking for new reeds for a 2004 rev 800 wondering if the v-force 3 reeds are worth the cost?

I had looked into these for my 07, a few people said they improved performance slightly, but most said they did nothing of noticable improvment, just my experience asking around about them.

I noticed increased throttle response and a little power increase but I added them after I had already done a few mods to the motor and exhaust so the change may have been better suited to the modded motor than the stock motor! The reeds were part of the mod kit that my dealer had put together for that particular sled (Summit REV 800, both the 05 and the 08 XP). Just my 2 cents! It's your call! Some peeps like em, some don't!

Do not waste your money. The carb boots are garbage. I had them on a '01 ZX and not even with in one year the intake boots were cracked. Just about suffered a meltdown!! And good luck trying to find replacement boots. I calledmoto tasinari ( the manufacturer of V force) and was told there are no replacement boots. You have to buy theentir setup all over again!! If anything, go with the Boysen Cage Rage system. Billet aluminum boots = no rubber spliting or cracking = no melt downs = Happy sled head:face-icon-small-win Jest my 2 cents:beer;

The billet aluminium boots are part of the complete Boysen Cage Rage reed. Look on Boysen's website for more info.
