Are these sleds usually harder to start after you put a head on?

I recently just put a PAR 13:6 head on my 2013 pro. The sled is new and has 0 miles on it but i noticed after i put it on the sled is a lot harder to start. It takes quite a few pulls and when its really cold it'll try and start and than die and than after a couple more tries it'll start. I didnt know if this was normal with the head or if i have something else going on with it. Thanks for all the help!

Should feel like the rope is a bit harder to pull, but should start on the same # of pulls. 1st or 2nd pull should do it every time.

That's what i figured but it takes like 5 or 6. When i was doing the head i also tried turning the oil pump up but when i tried busting the nut loose it kept bending the little arm that its mounted too. I straightened it out and than the sled had a high idol. I took it in but all they did was adjust the cable up by the bars but now im beginning to think theres something else, maybe thats why its hard to start?

I put the same head on my 14 and it's always 2 pulls cold, 1 pull warm. With MDS clutching works awsome!

I took it in to the dealer today, I don't even know where to begin with that tps stuff haha. Im excited to try the head out though! Thanks for the input everyone!

I've felt after a head my sled was a little harder to start. 2-3 pulls if cold. I usually do one pull that is super slow with no real intent to start it, just free everything up.
