Are these plugs too lean?

Just trying the gutted airbox along with my dynoport pipe/y-pipe/can and wondering if these plugs are too lean.

Since gutted airbox have a very noticeable bog when first grab throttle from a stop, but very great pull once it passes the bog. But from a slow roll have a slight bog but not a noticeable as from a stand still then great pull. Also top end went from 90-93 to 100-103 on fusion 900.

those look pretty good maybe a touch lean but that is pretty much how my brothers look with no problems

Thanks, looked a little lean to me but wasn't sure how much. Cannot find my mirror when I need it to check piston wash. I just found this chart here http://www.dansmc.com/spark_plugs/spark_plugs_catalog.html to check plug color and from there they look to be around #20 and before the gutted airbox was around #9 or 10.

Now to figure out the bog on the holeshot it created. Couldn't believe went up average around 10mph on top from a timbersled air filter to gutted airbox and bullseye mod.

thats still pretty slow, i have stock 900 with lower gearing and 1.5`` track and i went 109 mph.

Yes it is. Before I switched to the cobra track was hitting 105-110 all day. After the track thats where I been stuck at. Most due to every window clipped I believe creating more friction and also the primary not fully shifting out about 1/4" mark left. Just looking for a higher finish helix angle as I have have 11-76 weights on and thats biggest they make. Maybe when my wallet recovers from the holidays I will switch to an adjustable weight set but want to try a diff helix first 66-44 or 66-46.

Every window clipped creates less friction and higher track speed when climbing. The heavier weight of the new track might make a difference. When was the last time you put a new spring in your primary and secondary?

The primary 2 seasons ago, and haven't done the secondary yet. They are due for a change. Kept putting them off.

ITS TIME...

if you remove your primary and secondary springs in the summer...you will get 2 seasons out of them with no problems...if you leave the springs in year round...1 season...
