Are RMK a-arms all the same?

I need new a-arms for my 09 RMK. Are all IQ a arms identical except for the color? I know the 09-10 dragons are different. Would regular IQ rmk arms work on my raw IQ rmk? Thanks

Assault A-Arms are different as well.

I think...so I'm not a 100 percent postive...that your 09 will only take 08 and up.
I believe the 05-07 will cross fit those model years...
Can anyone else clarify this a bit better.?

Here is what I think:
05-07 are the same
08 is different
09-10 are the same

Obviously the Assault is different as well.

The 05 900 a-arms are different from the 06 900 a-arms. You had to replace them as a set.

09 and the 10 are different in the way the swaybar mount's and the Assault has a wider stance.

I may have answered my own question. Couple minutes on the oem parts fiche shows that all 06-10 upper and lower RMK a arms are the same except for the color. I already know the new dragons and assaults are diff, thats not being debated. Can anyone confirm this to be true?

Assault A-arms are the same part used on Grand Touring Machines. = Wide Stance

that is a good way. just compare the parts' and you will find out which a-arms are the smae

Lots of confusion here. I assume your sled is not a Dragon. If so, any a-arm from 06-2010 non Dragon will work. The color may be different depending on what model it comes off of. Only 09 and 2010 Dragons use the new style swaybar. The Assault is different than all of the others because of the wider ski stance.

06-2010 upper A arms are the same.....HUH. Different sway bar in 09, as you know. A 08 lwr arm doesn't have the sway bar mount hole your 09 needs. Just buy a new 09 arm, if you can't afford it, you prob. shouldn't own a sled.

Really helpful reply. I am trying not to bash here, but I have an rmk as was stated, not a dragon, so no, I don't need a different sway bar mounting hole. And not being able to afford it... well I thought we were all here to help eachother out, not put'em down.

jholer, I AM sorry for what I said, and I was wrong in forgetting the 09 rmk didn't get the new swaybar the dragon got. I hope you accept my appology, maybe I was just pissed cause I had to drop $160.00 for a new arm already. Have a safe season. John

Dude, I lost three a-arms on two sleds in one weekend, that hurt, I built skid plates for both sleds and haven't bent a single one since. Good Luck.

I've thought about that also...the only thing I keep coming back to is where does the energy get transfered to?
The a arms were designed to give before anything else.
Bulk heads are very expensive so I'd like to hear the engineering design/concept on what you have done.
And I'm not a polaris engineer or even work at a store....just a hardcore rider who breaks chit...
