Are 08/24/2010 dated pistons "updated" for 08/09 800s

If so they're looser than **** in a brand new mono-block. Are the Wiseco's tolerance any better? These slap happy POS EOMs won't last a couple hundred miles and don't want to drop a ring into the case or gouge up another mono-block.
