arctic fx tunnel wrap question??

Hey guys, got my tunnel stickers from Jordan the other day. I have used their stickers in the past for hoods and used the application spray with a squeegee so you can move them around a little bit. For the tunnel, have you guys been putting them on dry? seems like it wouldn't be too tough dry because it's a big flat surface and it's on metal, not plastic. Also, what do i do about the the manufacturer sticker on the right hand side. Can i take that off or does it void any warranty? That's also where the VIN is isn't it?? Thanks in advance. Going to put them on tonite, can't wait to see it!!:face-icon-small-coo

yes the vin is on the sticker...but the vin is also stamped into the tunnel...oh...and please post pictures

Pics aren't the greatest. i will have to get better ones when i get it outside. Thanks to the guys at arctic fx for yet ANOTHER GREAT product! They are very nice, thick decals made very well. Also pretty easy to install!

Make sure that the tunnel is DRY and WARM (at least 65-70 F)...(the warmer/dryer....the better)

IMO... Remove the running board support bar completely from the sled... easy to drill out the rivets and remove the bolts... use the good rivets from Polaris for the re-install of the bar (pretty cheap).

IMO... use the decal positioning fluid as well.

Yes...you can do it without all this... but it is much easier with things out of the way and an extra set of hands.

IMO.. If you ever want to sell the sled north of the border... leave the sticker on .
It is a paperwork hassle to get the letter needed when the sticker is removed.
I speak from experience here.

Also handy for local law enforcement if you get in a bind OR ever drive north of the border with your own sled for riding.

Carefully make a paper template of where the sticker and engraved numbers are... transfer that to the graphic and cut a "window" in the graphic.

MY 2 cents.

I think i would agree with you MH. I think if i did it again, i would remove the running board support. i took the 2 bolts out so i could slide it behind but would be much easier if it was just out of the way. didn't even think of that.

i could also see where the fluid would be nice. it is a very large sticker to put on, especially by yourself.

I did cut around each rivet once it was on also. Is that common practice? i didn't see how else you are supposed to get it to flatten out without doing that.

Hoping i don't have issues with the stickers gone on the right side. i did call the dealer and he told me pretty much the same thing. I'm only about 30 miles from canada but i guess that kinda limits me to selling it in the states. i guess i can live with that.

Thanks for ideas (even though i already had them on!) :face-icon-small-sho
Hopefully it helps someone else...
