Arctic Cat SVX Spec Update?

I think all this kit is going to do is open the door for snow bikes being allowed on some trails. As far as it being a game changer, I don't think so. Looks like all they did was took a sherco motorcycle put a camso kit on it then slapped a arctic cat sticker on.

I get what the OP was asking about though. I’m curious as well. I imagine they did most of the mods that we all do to our bikes. Forks, thermobob, intake, etc.

It's a fair guess to say that the majority of the people that have purchased the kits did not know what it takes to make the bike run in a season it was never designed for .

Just talked to a really nice guy the other day that purchased a kit and seemed like a hard core dirt biker , his whole family rides . Asked him a few questions and it was obvious that he has no idea what it takes to get the full potential out of the machine that was never designed to run in the winter . Dirt bikers don't know , why should they ?

The point is this information catches a lot of purchases off guard , probably for fear of not making a sale .

If this bike has the goods it will do very well in sales because the information needed to make these kits a turn key will get out .

It looks like it was exactly what they did, but if they added all the stuff necessary to make the bike snow-worthy, then they have added some value. We shall see.

I'm one that until a month ago, had no idea what it took the make a dirt bike into a snow-bike, thanks to y'all on here.

I'm lucky in that up here in NH, provided we just get registered for snow, we're good to go with our tracked bikes.

If Arctic Cat is the first to market with an honest to goodness snowmobile rated snowbike, with all the issues like the airbox and engine temps sorted out, they'll be on to something. I have a feeling I'll never go back to snowmobiles once I get out on my bike.
