I’m hearing the there is a deal in the works for a sale. Actually I was told that they have been sold. But no confirmation yet. Don’t know who is buying or when it will be announced. Got this from a dealer hopefully it is true!

Having been thru a buy out a couple years ago. There will be no announcement until the deal is done Done DONE. And even then there is a period of due diligence until a closing date that the deal could go south.

I'm truly amazed by the the false information continuing to be spread by people who should know better. As a publicly traded company, any sale Textron is a part of will not be leaked due to non-disclosure agreements and the fines/lawsuits that could be levied over insider trading. Anyone who has a dealer tell them something like this should truly laugh in that person's face and tell them they are full of **** for the reasons I stated above. They deserve it for true lack of critical thinking.

Additionally, the post shared on social media yesterday by SnoWest Magazine on facebook was pathetic. The dude that made the original post has no idea what's going on, which is clearly evident by taking a look at his previous social media posts. He clearly makes bogus statements to simply get clicks. Instead of looking at the person's history, they fanned the flames of false information and showed a true lack of professionalism. It was a ridiculously amateur move from an entity that I assumed wants people to take it seriously, maybe they don't.

Real men are not on the book of face.

You must not work for a large corporation or not one that has ever made a big transaction. Even the lowest people on the totem pole hear rumbling of who is coming and going during business deals. If business leaders from one large company show up to another company that is clearly up for sale, many within the ranks will hear about it. Yes most of them are rumors that never come to fruition but there is always some truth to the rumors as well. There is a company out there that is a front runner to buy Arctic Cat. Some are excited for it so they are all talking about it and trying to predict who it is. The media is just trying to drum up interest and not spreading rumors that deserve your reaction.

While it might be reassuring to know that there is a new buyer, I'm more interested in what a prospective new buyer's plan is for the company. Statas quo is untenable, so they must have a new/different strategy for the company.

So a question for the group: what would YOU do differently if you're suddenly the CEO of Artic Cat?

That's laughable. I actually do work for a fortune 2000 company that has been through a couple of different transitions and no one ever "knew" ****. Litterally the same garbage that is taking place with Arctic Cat, but since it wasn't as visible of a brand, the ONLY ones talking about it were the employees. Of course we knew who was coming through, just like I'm sure employees do at Arctic Cat. The difference is that we knew not to believe the random ass clown down the street saying its a done deal. That's what you have here, snow west giving voice to someone litterally making **** up.
