Let me add a bit of info I did run this kit down at 2500 with a 1.25 timing key and 2 gallons of race per tank and had no issue with it. I did later put in a 2.5 timing key and it made a bit more power but never run it under 4500' with 2 gallons of race with no issue. the recommendation of 6000 and up is with pump gas only will work with a 2.5 key.
