Sorry to disagree but it IS the same bottom end as the 900 EFI. The carb 800 and 900 is different. The mag end of the crank is bigger on the EFI and the mag housing is different. The EFI engine takes a larger diameter flywheel.
Hope this helps.

well I had a 01 zr800 and a 03 zr900 both carb and the clutches were not interchangeable the 900 was bigger.I got the 900 from black magic with a 1010in it but I don't think they put a efi crank in it they did not even bother to weld the crank

i know efi and carb are different - cat shop in town said it wasnt the same but very well could be - either way im sick of storing it - dont need anymore - bound to be some one w/ blown up sled that needs it - willing to listen to a resonable offer

Hopefully I can clear this up a little more.
The 2001 800 pto end of the crank took a 30 mm clutch just like all the older Cats. The 2002 and newer 800 and 900 engines have a 33 mm pto end. All 2002 and newer 800 and 900 EFI standup engines have the same bottom end. The 2007 and newer 800 is a completely different animal. All the EFI engines have a larger diameter on the mag end as well and take a completely different stator, flywheel and electrical system.

BOTTOM END DEBATE THEN IS SETTLED - THEY ARE THE SAME - AND YES I WOULD BE WILLING TO SHIP TO CANADA AND WILL SPLIT COST OF SHIPPING
