APT smartcarbs

So there are a bunch of posts regarding APT smartcarbs in the snowbike forums, nothing really anywhere else. Everyone stuck to EFI these days, or how come no chatter about putting these on sled application? Seems like they could be a nice fit on my rktek engine in my rev chassis. (I like throwing money into an old chassis, what can I say )

The 2-stroke they are developing is pretty sweet too.
No lack of power compared to current two-strokes, and no oil consumption? Wonder how long it'll take before a bigger corporation snaps this up and shelves the idea....

I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the same guy I talked to a number of years ago who said he was involved in inventing the Lectrons. Sounds like same style needle. He kind of fell off the face of the earth, website didn't work or phone #'s back then. Glad to see they got it going again or somebody did.

I was very impressed with the concept. Superior vaporization is even more important today than 10 years ago from what I have read on Dynotech Research, the vapor pressure of our fuels is ridiculously low to almost non existent. Likely for EPA rules.
