April 26th and AWESOME RIDING !!!

Well-known member
I want to thank all those who decided to stay home yesterday and leave the whole place to me and the Missus!
Got on the snow at 6:00 AM and had it all to ourselves.
Some folks might know where this is but I'm going to keep it to myself for a few more weeks.
Just greedy I guess :D
I tried to get a few good friends to go but they had to go fishing instead...Bad choice :D

I have never seen as much snow up there in my life and I've been riding at this place for 12 to 13 years...And this is the end of April

Anyways...Enjoy the Pics!

We didn't have any company until after @ 1:00 and by then we could hardly walk or squeez the throttle :D
To those who didn't come with us yesterday...I'm Sorry !!!

nice pics!

Wish I could have got out yesterday, but baseball game and supercross kept me away........

More pics!!!!!!!!!

Your Secret is safe with me!

It was nice meeting you on the hill yesterday, should have stopped to talk a while longer but I need as much practice as I can get.

Your right, it was an amazing day on the mountain.:o

Look forward to seeing you again sometime. Send me a PM if you want to ride.

I will !
It was great to meet other good folks on the hill. And from the looks of things, your learning very quickly!

I'm pretty dang sore this morning but at least I can walk!
That's better than yesterday:rolleyes:

Since this season seems to be coming towards an end, I might just give up the location and have a great day riding with and meeting all the folks I've spent so much time "Yakkin" with on this forum.

This might be an awesome way for us to get in a "Local" forum ride.
The location is perfect for a day on the hill with a BBQ or a nice pit fire to burn some hot dogs and it's perfect for a good family play area too.
I taught all my kids to ride there, plenty of safe areas and some extreme climbs close-by for the maniacs! Even a good amount of boondockin through the trees to a few secret spots, and a nice lake too!

It would be best to do this when the weather is like it was last Saturday so I'll be keeping my eyes on the weather report.

Anyone interested?
H20SKE and all your group?
Coyote Girl and your entourage?
Summit800 and family including Bigskins? (yes, you're family !!!)
Fordy, and maybe even ...Graveler ! (comic relief)!!! JK!:D
Justadude?
M7 man?
rookierdr? (You already know where it is)

Let me know if anyone's interested.

There will be about 200 + yards of some exposed gravel to cross but I think it's worth it. Typical spring riding ya know!
Sled decks and small trailers that can be disconnected and turned around by hand are a must.

sounds like fun...

Keep us posted, I'm always up for meeting new peeps and new areas. Looks like a fun lil' spot.

Sounds and looks like a good area--I am up for new areas always--spent alot of time checking out new areas early this year--still like my home base the best.

Is this area you have the pictures what they call the Palisades??

H20SKE...

What ya mean coming to a end---7" new last night--still going--LOL

martin creek, to bad you don't know about the real sweet spots on stevens pass. That area is closed for most of the season but there are back ways into the big riding areas

Who says I don't? ;)!!!
To some folks the only "Sweet Spots" are the extreme vertical pucker climbs.
To others it's a fun Terrain Park type area with some good pulls that don't risk your life or your sled. I prefer the later.
Yes, the area IS closed most of the season for the past 3 years which is why I would like to show it to some good folks out there while I can.
It's just a fun spot that is worth riding. Maybe it's not extreme enough for you per your recent post that stirred up so much interest in your lack of humility ? :D

I met some freinds of yours on the hill over the weekend who told me that you're really not as arrogant as you came across in that infamous post but you're not making their job any easier to defend you with replies like this one.
They did say that you were a pretty accomplished rider though so maybe this
type of ride is not for you?

man you are sensitive;). I like riding there also but I have hurt myself riding there the last to times so that place is cursed to me:eek:.
Seriusly that place is a great place to take groups to, easy access and lots of easy riding areas. you have actually ridin with a couple of different people i know . the problem with me is i can't type so i sound very arrogent a ignorent on the computor. some day i'll run into you on the hill and say hi , actually looking forward to meeting you,

As you know we are new to the sleddin community, My wife and I would love the opportunity to meet new friends on the mountain.

Keep us posted.

Count me in if you end up going. I'm always ready for one more ride. Also, let me know if it's family friendly or hitting it hard. I'm happy either way but my daughter was thinking about going. I hope it works out.:D
