applying for EDL tommorow

because of the current weather conditions i will be applying for the EDL so hopefully in 2-3 weeks i will be able to ride in canada hopefully there are other folks that have the same idea

Waaaaaaaay ahead of ya, I've been planning for 3 weeks

I got my passport and passport card application in about 3 weeks ago. I should be receiving it within a week or two.
Can ya guess what I'm thinking...............

Rene at Eagle Valley Lodge has a real nice lodge and is a very fun guy to ride with,nobody knows the mountains around Sicamous as well as he does.
On the Galcier House there are better,more "friendly" places to stay at in Revy.Just do a search on there.Revy is a nice place to ride though.

I've been told the enhanced drivers licenses take about as long or longer than the passports.

Passport = picture......fill out application......write a check for $95 - 3 -4 weeks

EDL = Wait around DOL office for better part of the day - 3 weeks

I probably should have just got my passport but it just seemed alot faster so hopefully by early next month i can go...............we'll see

I went to the DOL on the 28th of Dec and received my EDL on Jan 6th.
Its the wait at the DOL that will kill you, 3 hrs of my life I will never get back.

It only took about a week to get our EDLs, went friday before christmas had them by christmas

My GF got hers last year,alot more convinent then a passport.

The border people are prob wondering why all the snowmoblers are migrateing to canada!!

It works for Canada & Mexico, but you need the actual passport for international travel out of North America
$20 in addition to your actual passport
