I have an 07 Apex with a VE tunnel, rolled chain case and Holz rear skid. I am having trouble with the track hitting my heat exchanger on the rear of the tunnel. I have check and rechecked the installation measurements I got from Holz and the skid is mounted correctly. I like the way the skid works right up until it hits the exchanger. I can reduce the contact by putting more air in the shocks, but the ride gets to stiff and trenching is terrible. Any one had to deal with this? Is replacing the skid my only fix?
