Where did you pick up these items and $ if you don't mind?
Do you get more ice build up under tunnel now?
Is the TJ's exhaust much louder than stock?

I've been looking at buying this package but don't want additional ice build up or a loud exhaust.

Thanks.

excell undertunnel here, and it is LOUD when u are on it, you must take off all the undertunnel sheilds ect and cut 1" or so off of the snowflap to stop all iceing issues, I also coated the undertunnel with moly graphite spray.

:DMoto and myself are working my apex over now with our own under tunnel exhaust set up will post sum pic's of how it turns out :D Its a copy of what he did on his Nytro. We just put a Y in where the four pipes come down to two bringing the two down to one pc of 2" pipe then run it back to a two brothers can off a Honda CBR1000 His sounds damn good can't wait to hear it on the Apex

Moto's nytro can be heard here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn6Q-XSBS1w

Lincoln County Customs, fka TJ's Sports has the tunnel dump pipe, I just bought one 2 months ago, great stainless steel unit with nice sound, the idle and mid range is close to stock, but top end and FT it has authority.

The Mtn Lite is a nice unit also but loud ... we have 3 of LCC's pipes now and they are about 91 db on the snow at idle. We had a new noise law pass so these units are the best fit for us, YES, we will probably be paying $100 tickets next year but it's the best we can do for now.

Im using a yoshirimra Rs-3 carbon slip on pipe for the R1 road bike. It comes with a quiet insert which lowers the sound level to 96db. This pipe is the lightest one i've felt. Should have pics of the install once im back home in oz.

niko.

Ps: with any aftermarket pipe you most likely will need to run a power commander 3 as the fuel/tuning will change.;)

do some research on an under tunnel exhaust before you buy. If you ride a lot of powder you will have problems. I did! I wish someone had told me first. I ended up turning the exhaust out the side of the tunnel and it is alot louder now but it sounds good and works great. Hope it all works!

BOY! You are certainly wraught with every problem imaginable eh? No problems w/ my undertunnel in 800 miles... and nothing but powder

It helps to trim down or completely remove the snowflap....

Best mod you can do to stop ice build up is after you mount the pipe put a alloy cover over the exit of course leaving room for breathing.

I've had TJ's on my SC Apex for 2 years and no problems, it sounds great. I've never had an issue with deep snow and it doesn't get much deeper than here in Colorado.

do this first before you spend all your money

cut your stock pipe where it goes into one and weld on a glass pack and build a shield for the snow. measure how long of a glasspack you can fit inlet and outlet are 1.75. your out 30 bucks and have an undertunnel its not super loud either. save your money for other things:beer;:beer; the guy that did this has built twelve and he had the excell and one other stye and he said they were louder
