Apex T or Nytro T?

Might wanna search the topic, everyones sick of replying to this Question, buy one, boost it, scare the s h i t out of yourself. Nothing wrong with either one, strong riders can make either work, Nytro might be more manuerverable for some, both heavy when stuck, quality tbo kits made for both, best is to try them out. My $ 0.02.

I agree you can't go wrong with either of these sleds.

I am one of the few going back to the Apex platform this summer. I actually think it handles better for me then the Nytro did. I also think I can make a few changes to the Apex turbo kits learned from playing with the Nytro and get considerably bigger reliable HP. Even though I did not have a problem with my Nytro, I did see 4 put pistons through the cylinder. I was afraid that would be a problem with the longer stroke, and it's got me a little scared of the Nytro reliability after 800 miles on big boost applications and I don't want to be broke down in the middle of the season. Not that the Apex is a guarantee, but I've had three with over 2500 miles and never had a problem.

I blew the crap outa my Apex 500 miles on it. IT was real special 500 miles on the motor and I got to buy a new crank, block valves pistons ,rods, still have no Idea why but it was not from detonation.

I dont think yamaha makes a bad anything my kids Flute even works great.:)

Apexes are usually tough as nails. The nytros only engine issue I would say is inadequate cooling system for doubled horsepower. Powder Lites has a really great idea coming to cure this and may even pull a few more ponies while doing it.Dave we tested the double double down with air and it pulls like crazy sucked a shop towel completely in. Crazy ideas sometimes spawn great improvement.

After riding several Non boosted Nytros and one boosted Nytro this season I will be keeping my Apex!!

I really like the power and the rage of the Turboed Apex. It just has more fun factor to it.

I installed a 15 wide track and it handles great!!

I'm going back to the Apex. I don't like the way the ski's turns into my body on the Nytro. It feels front heavy and wants to dive. If all I did was climb I may stay with the Nytro.

I also saw a couple Nytro's go down with motor problems. In my opinion this has nothing to do with Yamaha, the common denominator was over 1000 miles and running over 18pds boost. I'm not going to say who's kit(s) they were cause I don't think that has anything to do with it.
