Anybody got a tricks for suspension setup.......In deep snow my apex is awesome, but when your trying to follow someone's tracks on a narrow trail with a bit of slope........ its hard to control.......it ski dives bad...I have simmons skis on it... the front shocks are set up 3/4 to full preload...the rear skid center shock is set up as hard as it goes....limiter strap is one hole tighter than stock.....I haven't drove the sled with any other ski than the simmons....I almost think it makes the steering harder on the sled.......any ideas..

Would a m-10 help the ski dive?......

Maybe try taking some pressure off the skis. Soften the rear suspension a bit. I've found its always easier to make your own track(lets not talk about last weekend though!:eek::o). Might be time for Gen IIs?:D:beer;

The Simmons Gen Is are great in spring conditions but I just switched back to my stockers for the "cold winter" pow, makes a big difference keeping the front end up in the snow.

I have the TAPEX Simmons Gen II Skis and they float real well.

I have a buddy that follows me on an TRXI and his powder pros dive if he does not stay perfectly on my track.

They just do not have the surface area for the floatation the Gen II skis have.
