APEX --- RX1 Motor Question

Are the Apex Motors and RX1 Motors interchangeable.

Will all the throttle body EFI Apex stuff transfer to an RX1 motor?

You're over my head here.

I know the motors are basically the same but, the Apex has hotter cams and some other internal changes.

What I don't know is if the stock wiring harness on a RX-1 engine would be capable and equipped to plug into an Apex wiring harness with the EFI fuel delivery components.

My guess is, No. You could really open a can of worms here but, I'm certainly not an expert. Hopefully, one will chime in for you shortly.

Personally, I would wait it out for an Apex engine.

Scott from Diamond called me and was a big help, he is a great guy.

The answer is it can be done but the head and flywheel have to come off the RX1 and be replaced by the Apex parts.

Not sure if it is worth it at this point to do the conversion.

I am looking at all the options I can find right now.
