Apex Error Code 46

I did a search but could not find any previous discussion on this.

I pulled my 07 APEX out of storage and I'm getting a CODE 46 on the display.

I Checked the Fault Code Guide & It Says:

Fault Code # 46
ITEM = Vehicle System Power Supply (Monitor Voltage)
SYMPTOM = Power Suppy to FI System Is Not Normal
Fail Safe Action = Output To Grip Warmer Is OFF
Able / Unable To Start = ABLE
Able / Unable To Drive = ABLE

I Checked Voltage at the Boost Leads
Running = 17.44 vdc
Off = 14.52 vdc

Does not seem right, but I do not have a shop manual.
Anybody know what it is suppose to be and maybe what is going on.

Apex normal output voltage is 14v/35A @ 5000rpm.
Normal regulated voltage is 14.1v - 14.9 v. Your output is excessively high. sounds like unregulated voltage output.

Well Saturday was oil change day for the apex & phaser. While working on my Apex, I replaced the battery with new. Still got the Code 46.

So while wifey's Phaser was apart, I borrowed her voltage regulator. The error code cleared. My new reg should be in tomorrow.
