Apex chaincase bearings?

The upper chaincase bearing doesn't spin smooth like the bottom one...is that normal? Its not loose......is it pressed in there? The speedo side bearing is shot..that one is loose....thanks in advance
 
Ya, they are bad. It's common for them to go bad, they are cheap, change them. The chaincase bearings are pressed in, you can usually tap them out with a hammer and a big socket.

While your changing bearings, have a gander at the driveaxle bearing below the secondary. Them last a year and are toast.
