I read an article saying that one of the two major differences that the apex motor was different was the duration on the intake is quite a bit larger. Its 31btdc-57atdc on the rx1 and 33btdc-71atdc on the apex...thats quite a difference if you ask me. the other difference is the crankshaft being 2 lbs. lighter. i know that the injection makes a difference but i might as well buy an apex then. if i change the intake cam though and gain power that would be a cheap way to gain some power. if anybody knows about this let me know thanks
