Where would be the best place, if there is one, to do a quick road ride tomorrow? I'm in Ogden but not afraid to travel a bit. I know Wolf Creek Pass was alright last weekend but who knows what's happened since then. Anyone go up anywhere today and if so, how'd it look? Thanks

I rode wolf creek yesterday and found some areas to get off and try the new turbo out. Good enough I think we will go back up tommorow for more testing.

My dad and I are looking to go to trial lake tomorrow. Let me know if you wanna go and we can load the sled deck, if you've got a trailer we can just meet at my house and take one truck?

Didn't Suck

Just walked in the door from WolfCreek, and guess what didn't suck????? There were maybe 10 trucks there total and Most looked to be going after Christmas Trees not really out riding. Not much of a road ride but lots of meadows to go carve and enjoy. If you know where all the little powder pockets are up there you can always find fresh. Road fresh all day long. Wasn't super deep but definitely deep enough to get a good "Test and Tune Road Ride" in for the new sleds in the group ;));)

If I was riding tomorrow that's where I'd head, the big meadows may look tracked out but if you know where to look and are comfortable with tighter trees and tiny meadows there's lots of decent snow to be had,

Didn't suck at all!!!!

It was good enough for a road ride. Still sketchy in the meadows unless you KNOW the meadows and where the rocks are. It has been windy up there so it's harder to tell where the rocks are now. Had 8 of us up there today with no damage but we stayed on the roads and didn't venture off them very much.

I think we might head up in the morning and check it out. Thanks for the offer Bronco but I've got a few people going already. We'll for sure get together this year though.

Good thing we know the meadows well because in the meadows was where we were 80% of the time. Nothing wide open, well not true that's a lie, but only a few times ;););) mostly 1/4 to 1/2 throttle.

We're you guys the group of Pro's we ran into by the little hill over by Yellow Lake ?????

Probably not. We never saw anyone else after we left the pass. We went down into soapstone basin though and had fresh tracks all day long. We did have 5 Pros in our group though. Here's a picture of my 14 Pro

Trial Lake

We rode trial lake today. there was a decent amount of snow. just find north facing stuff in the shade and you'll find 3-4 ft of some good fluffy. no broken parts from rocks..
