Buff Pass, Jones, Snowies?? Anywhere. Picking up a new sled on saturday and would like to get it on top of some snow to check her out!

A few more days left at Lake Marie before it turns completely to swamp at the bottom.

good luck, but I wouldn't want to take a new sled out this time of year

I don't plan on romping or getting too carried away. I literally just want to put it on top of some snow. Even if it's just a quick rip. You know how it is buying something new :)

It's not a brand new sled but it's a new purchase, haha, so it's going to be hard not to try it..

This will be my 40th year of sledding and 20th in the mountains.
I used to be that way but you never plan hitting a rock or a stump
or rolling a sled down a hill(powder is much more forgiving when rolling a sled).

But I have a new Cat 1100T coming and I hope the snow gets deep early becuase it will be hard to wait

Yeah I have hit my fair share of rocks. I'm not planning on doing much of anything. I'm talking about getting on it long enough to feel it run. Haha.

The rains have moved back up into the mountains so it's going to go really fast now. Lake Marie hill approach will be muskeg any day now. By this w/e I wouldn't bother trying it, especially with all the tourists to witness the mud slinging.
