I have changed out my $40+ dollar stock cap and replaced it with an $8-$9 cap that does not leak. It is just a cap, and it does not tell me how much fuel is in there.

Mine leaked from the dome too and it just got worse over time. The glue had deteriorated enough to start causing the leaks. I used a screwdriver to carefully pry the clear dome loose. Then cleaned up the old adhesive and re glued it with epoxy, making sure to create a good seal at the same time. Good to go
Sorry no part #. I believe it is a non vented oil/gas cap. The last two I bought were $8. Maybe call these guys.Do you have any pics are a part number? I'm tired of mine leaking and would like to find a new one.
Think super glue will work or what kind of epoxy.
