Anyone with space/a place in Summit?

Looks like the girls are pretty set on a place in Breckenridge this winter and I'm starting to pickup the vibe very quickly that parking can be a sh*show at places around town. I'm wondering if anyone has extra space around summit county in the driveway, out in the yard, next to a barn, etc that might have room for me to keep my 2 place 12' enclosed trailer for the winter season. I'd be happy to provide monthly compensation for using the space. If anyone has anything please let me know!!

trailer parking

Good luck bud. I tried doing something similar a couple years ago and had no luck. I even went around to different businesses and tried offering compensation for a spot to park my trailer. No luck. I ended up and parked it at a buddys place but they have since moved on. I also asked around for a out door storage lot, but at the time Summit county didn't allow them. You might be better of with a deck or just trailering. If you are gunna take a trailer into breck there are a couple large lots on the north of town you will be able to park in.

One would think there would be something aye.. A deck on top of my blazer??? Yeeeehaw! Can only imagine the looks I'd get, but hey them chevy roofs are solid right?
Just to clear up what may be some confusion, I will be living in breck with the girls, so looking for a spot full-time for the winter season.:face-icon-small-win
Most housing is a max of 2 spots. No bueno. Hell I've seen 3+4br places that only have 2 spots..
Wtf??

I've gotta plan...

How about I take one for the team here and live with a bunch of chicks in Breckenridge for the winter and you can use my garage in Aurora for free?? You can have the house too as long as you go to work for me and make the mortgage payment. Deal?

Put an ad on craigslist. " high Rockies " under "parking /storage". Also look there for people offering storage. Include the dimensions of your trailer and maybe what you are willing to pay per month.
Good luck.

Thanks for the ideas guys. Much appreciated. I do plan on throwing an ad up on cl..was hoping to find a fellow sledding buddy on here first. I'd rather give my money to you guys than to some shmuck who has more money than god and a vacation home they use over 2 holidays in the winter!!

I live in Breck, i got rid of my trailer for that very reason. The place i live wont even allow my trailer in the over flow parking lot. Building a sled deck for the truck for this winter. I had to park my trailer in random places for 3 years before getting fed up with it.

Grant I've been meaning to drop you a message and see what you're experience has been. Sounds like it's been every bit a pita as I see it turning out to be. Glad to see you'll be hangin onto the sled. We'll definitely have to get out this winter. Maybe those random places wouldn't mind a small trailer again for some $$?? For now I'll keep searching and keep me fingers crossed. Of anyone comes across anything keep me posted!

There are two lots in town you can park at. One is out by the skating ring and one north of the gondola. Both are paid parking $5 a day. I stay there a couple times a year and that is your options. Be carefully at parking at the skating ring if it's prime skiing season because jackass people will block your trailer in even tho you paid to be there. Last year I yanked a dam car that blocked my trailer in. I would use the north lot it's bigger and more trailer parking. Breckenridge is a fun town.

I have been up here for 5 years now and haven't had an issue finding parking, and never paid over 30 bucks a month for my 20' trailer (at times I have have two, an extra 1 place). Don't keep tying in Blue River, Breck and biz. Your way better off getting a spot else where in the county and from a private land owner. They are out there. Oh ya posting on CL has never paid off either for me. You just have to ask around. You might want to join the club up here and see if those members know of places for you. Plus they are keeping areas open around here.

I do plan on joining the club and hopefully making some new riding buddies this winter. I ended up finding two options, each of which would have worked out great. Definitely took some leg work though. All set for this winter and ready for some snow!!
Thanks for your help guys

Let me look into it and ask around. I might be able to hook you up with a parking spot but it would be in Breck or Blue River. I ended up selling my 21' enclosed due to the bs of it. Finding parking, pulling it, getting it stuck. yada, yada. Although i loved having the trailer, im finding the sled on a deck or in the back of my truck is going to rock. Ill let you know if i find something for you.

Where do you plan on riding?

IF you plan on riding RE/Buff you are more than welcome to park at my place.

I live 1/2 hour North of Silverthorne
