09xp-x 154 --523# full of feul--oil no tools or spare belt

508# with slp pipe and all the foam removed:eek:

I'm guessing here
So that's 11 gallons * 6.25 lbs/gallon = 68 lbs of gas
1 gallon * 7 lbs/gallon = 7 lbs of oil.
1 gallon * 8 lbs/gallon = 8 lbs of coolant.
83 lbs so far, could be more coolant, and grease, chaincase oil, hydraulic fluid.

425 lbs sled

I'm missing about 9 pounds somewhere???

  • 09 XP = 450 lbs.
  • 09 M8 = 475 lbs.
  • 09 D8 = 477 lbs.
  • 09 Nytro = 515 lbs.

I didn't think the Nytro was that light... thats under 500# dry.

thats kinda funny; you are skidoomutt and are riding a yammy, and I'm riding an XP this year.....

i was at the show as well with Matt Allred from American Snowmobiler...who weighed the sleds. There was no Nytro weighed. The weights were as follows.

All sleds were full of fluids with 5 gallons of fuel.

09 Dragon 800 155" - 522#
09 XP 154" - 496#
09 M8 153" - 517#
07 Apex - 640#

Thanks,

Mike

My bad, I heard a Yam but don't pay attention to their weights since I was loading my XP so I could get the heck out of the snowstorm. Yes on it being an Apex not a Nytro, sorry. But as always the other weights you posted are not what was told to me ( I work in the same bldg as Matt, I will ask again Monday.) I thought 450 was awfull generous on the XP. Kripes I wish people would write this hsit on their foreheads.... that way, we would get the actual truth. Sorry folks.
