The other day and see where CitiBank (credit card company) was going to purchase a $50 million dollar jet after receiving bailout money from the govt.???

The white house called them and said that it probably wasnt a good idea??

I LMAO! When I was watching that. Using there money is one thing, but using my tax money, thats just so wrong all i could do is laugh!

Not that I think it is right, but they probably ordered that plane 2 or 3 years ago when they were flying high. To cancel the order now would cost them millions in lost deposits and cancellation fees. Buying a plane is not like going down to the corner lot and getting that new Kia. You have to put down a large chunk of change on the order and sign a contract with hefty cancellation fees, then wait a couple of years for them to build your plane.

Point taken!! However, As soon as they applied for financial aid from the govt. that deal should have been cancelled! They had lost so much money by that time that it wouldnt have mattered. But no! They kept the order even after they received the money from the govt. And it took a call from the White House to get them to cancel the order! That my friend is not right! And in my "OPINION" stealing from you and I for their benefit!

That would be like me stealing your food stamps so I can buy more groceries even though I make a ton of money on my own!

Just because everyone likes to use the term bailout, doesn't mean they were given free money... They were given loans...
