Anyone using Octane Supreme 130?

Octane Supreme 130 was mentioned successfully last year and i was wondering if anyone is going that route? I have never trusted octane boosters but this one claims to be a true Tetraethyl lead (TEL). And most racing fuels use a typical base formula with added hydrocarbons/TetraEthyl Lead.(Simplified version)

So what about some 100ll and a few ounces per gallon? I imagine this mix would have great anti-knock properties but with all these hydrocarbons the throttle response would suffer. So if we went to Premium and a few ounces per gallon we could have some light end Hydrocarbons for throttle response and heavy hydrocarbons/TEL for detonation resistance. Since octane is a measure of a fuels ability to resist detonation/preignition. The higher the Octane number, the slower the fuel burns. We know that 91 Octane fuel will technically develop more power than 118 Octane fuel, I would think 100ll with a few ounces would be something worth trying. Well that was longer then i wanted but its not like you guys have anything better to do... Ideas? :rain:

junk

i tried it and burnt down twice and only at ten lbs with straight 91 and the octane supreme i did 3 ounces per gallon, the first time i was not sure so i checked everything over thinking the octane supreme didnt do it, so i rebuilt it and the next ride went down again, then rebuilt it again and put my sunoco 112 in it and it has not burnt down since, so i would not recomend octane supreme to anyone.

The lead would destroy the O2 sensor but not any worse then regular race fuel. Most 105 mon race gas contains 4 - 6 grams of tetraethyl lead. Av-gas has 1.2 - 2 grams. I guess i was thinking a few more grams in some av-gas would be a effective mix. And thanks for sharing your experience.

First off sorry to hear about your burn downs that sucks. been there.
When you used 3 Oz per gallon you only raised the octane 8 pts or up to 99 octane. if you did not use the correct amount lets say by guessing how much fuel was in the tank it would be much less the 99 octane. So going from 112 you lost 13 pts if not more. The 130 we tested was good but not good enough. We have improved on the 130
The product we have tested and proved for the last 2 seasons is called Boost Juice It works well. more snap and better top end. easy to add on the hill if 15 lbs or more is needed.Just add 2 more OZ per gallon of what is left in your tank.:cheer2:

Thanks for the information, I was assuming "boost juice" and 130 were identical. Could you explain what allows "boost juice" to be a more effective additive over the 130? Is there anywhere online to view the products cost etc?
