Octane Supreme 130 was mentioned successfully last year and i was wondering if anyone is going that route? I have never trusted octane boosters but this one claims to be a true Tetraethyl lead (TEL). And most racing fuels use a typical base formula with added hydrocarbons/TetraEthyl Lead.(Simplified version)
So what about some 100ll and a few ounces per gallon? I imagine this mix would have great anti-knock properties but with all these hydrocarbons the throttle response would suffer. So if we went to Premium and a few ounces per gallon we could have some light end Hydrocarbons for throttle response and heavy hydrocarbons/TEL for detonation resistance. Since octane is a measure of a fuels ability to resist detonation/preignition. The higher the Octane number, the slower the fuel burns. We know that 91 Octane fuel will technically develop more power than 118 Octane fuel, I would think 100ll with a few ounces would be something worth trying. Well that was longer then i wanted but its not like you guys have anything better to do... Ideas?
