Anyone using anything other than a TSS on an ARO?

Originally ordered Zbros ARO exit shock, but it was too long.

Not super stoked on an $850 air shock (tss).

Is there another solution?

Anyone adapted a Yeti soft strut to work on an ARO? Interestingly enough it looks like the Yeti Soft strut is simply 2 urethane bump stops inside the strut body. One is Softer than the other to provide compliance and the other is hard for bottoming resistance.

We have been running the yeti soft strut in the TS it works great. I have both the TSS and the soft strut to compare to. For the $$ is I was wanting an upgrade I would consider the yeti soft strut set up in a heart beat.

thanks so much for the reply! What did you have to do to make the Yeti soft strut work with the ARO? did you have to run a ez-lock thread fitting to change the Heim joint thread diameter and pitch? Did you have to figure out what adapter to order form Yeti to achieve the proper length? Can you feel a difference between the TSS and the Soft Strut, if so how would you describe it?
