anyone using 2 inch ROX riser on 2009-2010 M8??

not using a that but i have a AMP 2" riser on my 09 and it works awesome, it piviots them forward as well comes up 2". Sorry i cant get a pic up for you.

hey

I put a 2 inch rox riser on to see if it works, and it fits if you cut some of the rubber from the bars. It doesn't stay tight and the bars will fold over evrytime you hit a little bumb. I thought about roughing up the bars and risers, but just went with the amp one, and its great.

he is correct. i installed one and it didnt fit worth a damn. BUT, with a little effort it work flawlessly. and is better than the AMP IMO. you will have to shave down the top stock clamp for the rox insert is a little small. when tightening the clamp it doesnt grab enough. roughing it up will not eliminate this. take the top stock clamp off, take it to the bench grinder, grind off mere mm's and reinstall. DO NOT tighten to much. cast aluminum=delicate. it holds perfect and is adjustable. the only thing i didnt like was the location of the stock screws. when you install the rox riser it covers the top stock screws....you will have to tighten the top screws down good, then pull the riser back in place, then tighten bottom screws. done. seems like alot to do or a pain in the ***, but it literally takes 5min and it works saweet. i will post a pic tomorrow. the AMP one is solid and a great product but not as adjustable as the rox. only reason i went with rox, oh and that it was $20 cheaper...the AMP bolts right on and is slick but hey, i like wrenchin...lol:face-icon-small-hap

here is a couple pics of the set-up.

Im also useing a rox riser on a 09 telesoping post. I pretty much did the same things to get it to fit. Worked great and you can put the bars anywhere you want, Mines a lot farther forward the the one in the pics. I only paid 40 bucks canadiain for mine so it was way cheaper then the amp.
