Anyone use the SLP LED adapter?

Trying to hook up a LED tail light from SLP and got their LED adapter, their instructions show how to wire the light from the LED adapter but not how to wire the adapter to the sled wiring harness. It has a flat 3 connector but no where for that to plug in and it doesn't say which wire from the sled goes to which connector on the adapter. I have to be overlooking something.....??

I installed one on a friend 06 900
and I just played until everything worked properly

The other 3 pin connector should be inside your stock tail light housing. Have you removed the rivets holding the housing to the tunnel and unplugged the stock light? You need to.

This is on an '05, SLP says there is no direct plug in and you basically have to play with the wires until it works.
