anyone use the klim powerxross pull over? how do you like it?

im looking into some new gear, and i dont want a enormous bulky jacket, so i noticed the klim pullover. anyone use one of these? how do you like it?
thanks

Best thing I ever did was go to the pullover. I don't even wear my Valdez jacket any more...no matter how cold. When it is REALLY cold, I still only wear thermal, micro fleece shirt, Windstopper Micro fleece jacket and then my pull over and never get cold. Both the shirt and windstopper jackets are very thin. Less bulk=easier riding.....

The powercross is all I have worn while sledding in almost 3 years now. On cold days I just put on a fleece vest under it and stay toasty.

Been working out different layering systems for the days that start warm and wind up frigid by the time I get back to the truck, had an issue at the beginning of the season of building up sweat on the inside of the pullover that would then turn into solid sheets of ice on my arms.

they are awesome.....mine is getting a little threadbare. love to get another soon. agree go a bit bigger with a techvest. if you can, find a place to try on prior to purchase.

I love mine. Water resistant, wind resistant and I got very lucky and picked one up on eBay for $100 last yeaar. I always layer up and usually wear my Klim Inversion jacket underneath.

so is there a light lining or just straight up shell?
strait up shell, there is a lining but its mesh. Make sure you wear a good base layer. I wear Underarmour coldgear top, cabelas fleese 1/4 zip shirt, Klim inferno shirt and Klim everest vest. Don't wear all of it all the time, but wear all of it when the temps drop down below 0°

I agree as well, best thing do do is layer. I wear a base layer from H.H and then a vest from H.H and have never once got cold.
