Anyone use Lime Wire????

I've used it for years, love it. As with any sharing program, scan everything you download, otherwise works great.

Outlaw just make sure AVG is set to actively scan and DO Updates.
WOuldn't hurt to add Avast antivirus to your arsenal of protection. It's free.

I've used Limewire for years for music, programs and some nice kids video's
. Just be sure when you are done using it that you close it completely, down in the little spot by your clock will be the green dot for limewire and you'll need to exit that also or it is kind of a system hog.

You do want to scan everything. I stopped using it a while back. tired of Trojan Horses and virus warnings on just about every song I tried to download.
bunch of cheap bastards. just buy the music.Dollar a song from Itunes, and no viruses. Plus your not stealing.

when you download a song, and its at the bottom right click it and click explore. it will come up in a different window. then right click the song you want and click add to windows media player. then it will be in windows media player and from there you can burn it to a blank cd

Part of the problem with Lime Wire is the initial download. My Trend Micro Anti-virus will show harmful links on a page after doing a search. Surprised how many there were.
My wife uses Limewire with no issues after choosing a good download.

The song that will not play... I would delete it from library and your computer and download from another source.
I have also found where a song is downloaded, then another that is not on your system but it will say the song already exists. Seems like the program recognizes file extention before it does the actual song

LMAO.. I knew that one was coming. I have never even been on one of those sites. I just look up sledding stuff, racing, and things for work. I get emails with alot of you tube though..
try Frost Wire. its like the pro version of limewire for free, less if no **** at all you actually get what your looking for and its the " turbo charged " download speed

Ya know if a person could play the entire song and decide if you like it it would be worth paying for not a buck either. Maybe .25/song. But otherwise tuff ***t. They make so much money it's not even funny.
Download everything you can and enjoy it.
Limewire works fine here.

I have it and when it is connected to the network it works great...
But why cant I connect so often? It will go for weeks with no connection, then "poof" I am connected to the network... download a ton of crap, and a day or two later I lost my connection again..... WTF???
