Just curious if anyone is taking fri off and wants to put some miles on their machines up in greenwater area early tomarrow, (fri 17) I know the area pretty good and will stay mainly on roads but there might be some powder snow involved, meet at safeway gas between 0600 and 0615, blue dodge 1 ton dually towing single trailer 1 sled.

I drove up FS70 today at 1230 all the way up to Rocky Point before I hit snow on road., Rocky Point as I call it sets above the upper quarry area. That quarry is blocked off no parking. There aren’t any trees bending or laying in FS70 from 410 up to Rocky point. There is a bunch of 3-4 inch diameter 3-6 ft long in ditch from greenwater take off on up to pyramid snowpark. Don’t know how you would get it up to cabin. 3 pickups were parked at the point and I had to engage 4x4 to get on up to where 4065 connects back into FS70, the snow was very wet and heavy, heavy and started getting deeper at that intersection. I turned around and came back down. I was checking to see if I wanted to take sled up tomorrow for some breakin miles. Decided conditions weren’t worth the distance I will get to ride.

Definitely not good enough conditions for me to put $$14K on the ground for the first time. I want to feel the sled not have to work it all day to move thru concrete.

I rode Gold Creek sunday, it was worth the drive some was great for road riding, put 40 miles on the turbo sled
