Anyone tried Yeti rail extensions on ST kit.

I have been thinking about trying yeti rail extensions and the 129 track on my 2014 MH ST. I really don't want to go down the LT road yet, but I can't seem to get under 215#. Would like to hear from people who have tried the extensions and 129", it seems like a good fit for my riding.

i ran the Yeti 129" on a 13 TS ST with extensions. Ran great and an easy bolt on. I ended up selling and getting a long track (TS 137) and a short track (TS 121). I liked the 129" size but prefer the TS track for the snow 'round here. Rumor is the Yeti track excels in lighter deep snow.

I live a little farther east and mainly ride north central Idaho, I don't have to deal with Cascade Concrete type conditions. I really want a longer track in the early winter and later in the spring. Did you really notice a difference in flotation? If so it might well be worth the money.

I ran the yeti on my 14 ts and loved it in the deep powder but in the spring snow it folded over. I ride spokane area and am selling my track and extentions to go to the newer yeti track. I didn't like the long tracks and for me the 129 is just right

I did not like the Yeti track overall. It wasn't horrible by any means but in the snow conditions I generally rode in it wasn't as good as the TS track. As others have said the paddles would fold and the track slipped to much. But...on certain days it killed it (deep soft snow). I did like the length though. Much easier to control than the TS Long track which climbs all day but does take a little more aggressive riding to control.

You can analyze all day but there really isn't that much difference between the three tracks and lengths. Get what you can and go ride. You will have fun.
