I like the jacket a lot and am in the process of buying another one. I ride in temps ranging from 30 to 0 degrees and only wear a cotton turtleneck and short sleeve shirt and can get warm on the hotter days if i am working a lot but have never gotten cold or wet with this jacket. I like that it has a lot of pockets inside and outside of the jacket. It also has underarm venting which i use when boondocking/playing around and close them on the ride home. The 4 button powderskirt works well and stays in place as well as the drawstring cord can be pulled with one hand. Velcro at the ends of the sleeves stay tight but would benefit from some sort of gaiter system. Lastly, the detachable hood is nice as I do not use it but all in all a great jacket especially for the price. You should be plenty warm with the shirt and fleece underneath. Hope this helps.
